Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
muslim is built around a single principle: your data belongs on your device, and nowhere else. This policy describes — in plain English — what that means in practice.
What we collect
Nothing. muslim does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. There is no account to create, no profile to fill in, no email address required.
Where your data lives
Everything you create inside muslim — entries, photos, voice notes, settings — stays on your device. We never see it, copy it, sync it to our servers, or share it with anyone.
If you choose to use Apple's iCloud backup for your device, your data may be backed up alongside the rest of your apps. That backup is between you and Apple — we have no access to it.
On-device processing
All features in muslim run locally on your iPhone or iPad. This includes search, indexing, and any computation the app performs.
AI features
When muslim uses AI — for summaries, suggestions, or transcription — the AI runs entirely on your device through Apple Intelligence and on-device models. No prompt, no input, and no output ever leaves your device. We don't see them, and neither does any third party.
Third-party SDKs
muslim contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs. We don't use Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, or any similar service.
Tracking & advertising
We do not track you. We do not show advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share data — because we don't have any data to begin with.
Children's privacy
Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect no personal data from children. muslim is safe for users of any age within the App Store's age rating.
Your rights
Since we do not collect, store, or process your personal data on any server, there is no data on our side to access, correct, port, or delete. To delete everything: delete the app. Your data leaves with it.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and ship the new version inside an app update. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change.
